Annie Skates has sung with Robbie Williams, Beyonce, Elton John, LeAnn Rimes, Ronan Keating, Lesley Garrett, Brian McFadden, Gloria Estefan, Eternal, Cliff Richard, Diana Ross, Will Young, Martine McCutcheon, A1, Vinnie Jones, Gareth Gates, Atomic Kitten, Robson Green, Madonna, Al Jarreau and Jose Carreras. Her many T.V. engagements include 'The X Factor' (Thames), 'Popstars' (LWT), 'Pop Idol' (Thames TV), 'Barrymore' and 'My Kind of Music' (LWT), 'Top of the Pops' (BBC), 'Hidden Talents' (LWT), 'Lily Savage Live' (Carlton), 'Star for a Night' (BBC), 'Des O'Connor Tonight' (Thames), 'Parkinson' (BBC), 'This is my Moment' (Granada TV), 'Conley' (Carlton), 'The National Lottery' (BBC), 'Give your Mate a Break' (Granada TV), and 'The Classical Brit Awards', together with numerous Royal Variety Performances. Annie has recorded signature tunes for 'French & Saunders', 'Birds of a Feather' and 'Absolutely Fabulous'. She acted as head judge on the panel for the talent show, 'Just Up Your Street', on BBC Wales, and was invited to be a guest artist on Mike Doyle's BBC TV series, 'The Lyrics Game'. In concert Annie has toured the UK and Australia with Michael Ball and has toured as guest soloist with Michael Crawford. She starred in a series of 'Symphonic 70's' concerts with the Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra and has appeared as a soloist in many international performances of 'The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber' and 'The Magic of Broadway'. She recently made her solo debut at the Royal Albert Hall for the British Motor Transport Awards. Annie sings lead vocals with the UK band, 'The Soul Police' and has made several overseas appearances with 'Bjorn Again'. Film soundtracks include 'Phantom of the Opera', 'Evita', 'Entrapment', 'Cats', 'Willow', 'The Land Before Time', 'All Dogs go to Heaven', 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', 'Cotton Mary', 'The Pagemaster', 'The Life & Death of Peter Sellers' , 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Haunted'. As a vocal coach and arranger, Annie has most recently worked on 'The X Factor' for ITV as vocal consultant for Simon Cowell's team. Annie has worked with Hear'say and Atomic Kitten, and with the contestants on the TV series 'Popstars' (LWT) and 'This is My Moment' (Granada TV). She was also invited to be vocal coach for Mis-teeq and has recently coached the voice-over artists for the animated TV series 'Little Robots'. Her vocal arranging work can be heard on recordings for Beyonce, Cliff Richard, Hear'say, Girls Aloud, Robson Green, Martine McCutcheon, Michael Ball, Heather Peace, Vinnie Jones, Steve Houghton, Denise Van Outen and Vincenzo la Scola. Annie arranged the vocals for 'American Idol' and 'American Juniors', and for the American No. 1 singles, 'God Bless the USA', 'Bridge over Troubled Water' and 'Summertime'.
